Celebrating 12: Top Eleven Marks Major Anniversary!

Belgrade, Serbia – May 5th, 2022: Nordeus is delighted to mark the 12th year anniversary of its hit football management game, Top Eleven – Be A Football Manager on May 9th. Having achieved over 240 million registrations since launching in 2010, Top Eleven was recently updated with its 3D Live Match feature to user acclaim, carrying the world’s most successful online football management game into an exciting new era.

From its early days of captivating aspiring football managers on Facebook to immersing fans on mobile devices, Top Eleven has been played in every country on Earth over its first 12 years. To mark the occasion and to thank those who have been instrumental in the game’s global success, Nordeus has launched a campaign aimed at celebrating the heartbeat of every football organization: its fans. 

“Football is nothing without supporters, and Top Eleven’s success is the direct result of our immensely passionate players. They’re central to everything we do,” said Top Eleven community manager Đurđa Đuričić. “For this and every anniversary we’ve been able to enjoy, we always look forward to putting the spotlight on our community to mark all we’ve been able to accomplish together.”

The campaign, Celebrating 12, will highlight some of the largest Top Eleven communities of fans in a special limited-time in-game event. The challenge, called the Unite Cup: World of Fans, will see players team up together against squads employing tactics that are representative of the community regions. 

“Every region tends to put its own spin on their type of football. We see this a lot in Top Eleven – our Managers putting their tactics together in unique ways depending on how they view the game,” said Mladen Dikić, Top Eleven product manager. “This event is a fun way of demonstrating to our community how fans from around the world see the beautiful game, with a uniquely Top Eleven twist!”

Along with the challenge, the Celebrating 12 campaign will include in-game giveaways, special offers and more to acknowledge the tremendous support over 12 years on the Top Eleven touchline.
