Kurt Zouma and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting Challenge Fans to Do it on a Cold, Wet Night in Stoke

Top Eleven put Potters fans to the ultimate test to answer one of football’s biggest questions.

BELGRADE, Serbia – March 8, 2018 – Nordeus, the independent games studio, best known for Top Eleven, decided to put four true Stoke City FC fans through their paces to see if they can answer one of football’s biggest questions: ‘can they do it on a cold, wet night in Stoke?’

As official shirt sleeve sponsor of Stoke City Football Club, Top Eleven, the world’s most successful mobile sports game with over 170 million downloads, invited four unsuspecting Potters fans down to the bet365 Stadium to take part in a series of challenges.

Later, joining them at the training ground were two new team-mates – centre back, Kurt Zouma and forward, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting. Together, they proved their worth, completing a gruelling obstacle course which mirrored conditions The Potters regularly face. From controlling a ball in a blizzard, to dribbling through a slip n slide, and finally scoring two goals through the fog, the course was a true test of their footballing mettle.

“The Potters are holders of the well-loved football phrase ‘but can they do it on a cold, wet night in Stoke’. This wisecrack has become synonymous with questioning the performance of opposing teams and the tough conditions they face,” said Riley Hammersly, Community Manager at Nordeus. “We’re always looking for ways to give back to our dedicated Top Eleven community, and our partnership with Stoke City FC allows this. We hope everyone enjoys the video and who knows, it might inspire some of you to try out a football challenge yourself!”
