In case you’re interested in working in the games industry, love video games and want to develop them independently or from within a company, we invite you to visit the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade on February 27 at 18:00h. That’s when the “Game Development Today” lecture starts, which focuses on questions about developing video games in the industry of today, the challenges, new technologies and opportunities, all backed by Nordeus, the largest video game publisher in the region.

On behalf of Nordeus, the lecture will be held by graduates of the Faculty of Mathematics:

-Mirjana Jovičić – lead software development engineer, will talk about Nordeus and the working conditions in the company;
-Aleksandar Marković – lead game designer, will talk about the development of video games;
-Miloš Netković – game designer, will develop a video game with students on-site;
-Students of the Faculty of Mathematics who took part in last year’s Nordeus Hackathon as SSSM Squad will share their impressions from this enduro-gaming competition, as well as thoughts on the atmosphere at Nordeus.

This will also be an ideal opportunity to ask employees of Nordeus about anything you’d like to know about developing video games, the gaming industry, working at an IT company and other interesting subjects.

“Game Development Today” will be held on February 27 at the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade, street “Studentski trg 16” in classroom 706, at 18:00h. Anyone interested may attend the lectures, not only students of the Faculty of Mathematics, so expect many visitors who see themselves joining the gaming industry.
