Customisable grounds, immersive weather and live match introductions introduced into the game, which is now available via Google Play and App Store

Belgrade, Serbia – January 20th, 2020: Nordeus has today released Top Eleven 2021, unveiling significant updates to the game’s matchday experience for the world’s most successful mobile sports game of all time. Top Eleven 2021 is the V.11 edition of the Top Eleven franchise, having first been launched in 2010. The game, which initially started as a Facebook game, transitioned to mobile in 2011 and allows players to compete against each other in league, cup and friendly matches to prove their skills. In 2013, Nordeus unveiled Jose Mourinho, one of the world’s most successful football managers ever, as the face of Top Eleven.

Top Eleven 2021 releases with significant updates to the game’s matchday experience, bringing to life the excitement and energy that every matchday brings. One of the biggest updates to this year’s game includes the introduction of customizable grounds, allowing players to collect and show-off grass patterns to make their ground truly unique to them. The collectable pitches will be visible throughout the game and will provide new options for rewards in community favourites such as tours, challenges and more.

For the first time ever, Top Eleven has added weather changes into the game, giving Managers a whole new factor to overcome when planning their tactical strategies for each match. Weather changes will now directly affect player condition, meaning Managers will have to find the perfect formula for success in order to defeat their opponents.

To enhance the excitement before each game, Top Eleven has also unveiled a new live match introduction, which includes the full line-ups of both teams to simulate what football fans see on television prior to watching their favourite clubs. Top Eleven has also completely redesigned its home screen before each game to show off the stadium where the next match will take place in order to drive a sense of anticipation amongst competing Managers.

Top Eleven ambassador, Jose Mourinho, said: “One of the great experiences you have as a football manager is the feeling you get every time you enter the stadium on a matchday. The passion, excitement and support of the crowd makes every manager feel like they are home. Now, Top Eleven Managers can enjoy the same excitement as real life Managers, with the opportunity to customize and build out their stadiums to enhance their own match day experience.”

Monika Walecka, Product Marketing Manager on Top Eleven at Nordeus, said: “Matchdays are the focal point of any football game which is exactly why this year we have focused on significantly enhancing the matchday experience for Top Eleven Managers. From adapting your tactics depending on the weather to customising your ground to make it completely unique to you, Top Eleven 2021 adds new elements to overcome in order to be an elite Manager.”
