Last week we were crowned People’s Choice best start-up at London Web Summit 2012, held in East London. This tops off what’s been a fantastic 24 months that has seen the company grow from three people to a team of 50! The award, which was voted for by the public, saw us beat the likes of Angry Birds developer Rovio, music streaming service Spotify and the game Moshi Monsters.
After collecting the award Branko (our CEO) had this to say:
“To stand out to the public in a field of such talented and innovative start-ups is very humbling. This week our 50th team member joined and we’re growing at such a rate that we’re not going to be considered a start-up much longer, so we’re going to make the most of this award while we still can!”
London Web Summit was a one day conference that 50 high profile speakers attended, including BlackBerry’s Laurent Hasson, JP Rangaswami from Salesforce and Marcus Sagal from Zynga to address 1000 attendees.
