THE DIFFERENCE YOU’LL MAKE:
- We are looking for a Client Engineer to join one of our independent game teams. You will collaborate with a squad of experienced developers to build, optimize, and scale our titles, ensuring they run flawlessly on millions of devices.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work hands-on across all technical aspects of game development: gameplay, client-side systems, and UI implementation
- Design, architect and implement game features in Unity Engine with C#
- Write high quality/performance code that runs on a variety of mobile devices (Android & iOS)
- Collaborate with game designers and artists to create new in-game features
- Create prototypes and proof-of-concept gameplay
- Proactively identify production bottlenecks and help to formulate solutions
- Have an opportunity to influence and impact game features that will end up in production
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:
- You will join a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Business Analysts, Artists, Game Designers, UX designers, Backend Engineers, QA Engineers, and others. At Nordeus, we champion team autonomy, meaning you’ll have a real seat at the table when deciding how features are built and delivered.
WE ARE A MATCH, IF YOU:
- Are a junior or mid-level software engineer, with some professional experience, preferably in mobile or client-side development
- Have experience with one or more programming languages, including, but not limited to: C#, Java, C/C++, Python, JavaScript
- Have a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
- Are a highly motivated self-learner capable of diving in and contributing to every technological aspect of game development
- Are passionate about gaming, not just software development

- Experience with one or more game engines (Unity, Unreal, CryEngine, etc.)
