Yes. The program is open to students of all years of study, including master’s students.

Do I need to be in Serbia in order to apply?

While the program is open to all students, it is primarily designed for students studying at universities in Serbia, as the content and activities are tailored to the local student experience.

How many students will be accepted at the program?

To ensure a personalized high-quality mentorship experience, the number of participants is limited. Each mentor will work with a small group of students, meaning up to 25 participants will be selected for the program.

Is the program remote or in-person?

The mentorship program is hybrid. Participants can join sessions either online or in person, making it accessible to students across Serbia.

How much time do I need to commit weekly?

You can expect to dedicate approximately 1–2 hours per week to mentoring sessions, workshops, and related activities.

Do I need a finished portfolio to apply?

A portfolio is required for art-related mentorship tracks, such as UI Art. It doesn’t need to be perfect, we simply want to see your work and current skill level. For other tracks, a portfolio is not required.

Can I apply to different mentorship paths?

Yes. However, please keep in mind that you may need to go through separate conversations with mentors from each track during the selection process.

Will I work on a concrete project, or is it more theoretical?

The program is focused on hands-on learning. Throughout the mentorship, you’ll work on a practical project, gain real-world experience, and get a glimpse into what it’s like to collaborate as part of a team. Your project will serve as the final outcome of the program.

Do I get a certificate or diploma at the end?

Yes. Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a certificate of completion. Please note that this is not an official certified diploma.

Is this Mentorship paid?

No, participation in the Nordeus Mentorship Program is unpaid. The program is designed as a learning experience, giving students the opportunity to work closely with industry professionals, gain practical knowledge, and develop skills that can support their future careers.

What is the official language of the Mentorship Program?

The program is primarily conducted in Serbian. Some materials, tools, and industry terminology may be in English.

Are mentoring sessions mandatory, and what is the policy if a student has an unavoidable conflict (e.g., university exams)? Are sessions recorded?

We understand that academic obligations come first. Missing an occasional session due to an exam or another important commitment is not a problem. However, sessions will not be recorded, so we encourage participants to attend as many as possible to get the most out of the experience.
