LIFE AT NORDEUS

How is this even a job?!

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO WORK AT NORDEUS?

The best thing about working here is the people you get to work with. They’re driven, incredibly smart and super kind. Whether on the sports field or in the office, they also love a good challenge. Here are some of their stories.

GAME DEV LIFE

“I work as a client-side developer on our @topeleven team. I remember the first time we released something that I worked on. My heart started pounding and I was thinking “millions of people are going to interact with this. Are they going to like it? What if they don’t?”. You know, it’s a big deal. But when you open the game and you see what you worked on, it’s definitely a pretty cool feeling. I think that’s the kind of excitement every programmer thrives on."

WHAT ABOUT BELGRADE?

"It's in Siberia, right?!" Let's put it this way: we doubt Siberia gets anything close to 200 days of sunshine a year! Belgrade is actually the capital of Serbia, a country of 8 million people in South East Europe. Built at the confluence of two great European rivers, this city is the cosmopolitan lovechild of the East and the West. From here, you can jump on short flights to every European capital or drive to the turquoise colored beaches of the Adriatic and snow-capped slopes of the Alps.

LIVING IN BELGRADE

DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH?

Yes, we do! We use English for all work-related communication. Not only that, the vast majority of people in Belgrade speak English very well. (In fact, they’ll use any excuse to start up a conversation with you). So no need to learn Serbian unless, of course, you want to! Got more questions? Check out our FAQ.
