UX Designer

UX Design at Nordeus is not a single-player game.

We are looking for someone excited to team up with super-talented user researchers, UI artists, game designers, product managers and engineers to design innovative interactive experiences.

If you are passionate about crafting elegant interfaces and delighting users with seamless interaction designs, you will be a great addition to our team! 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work closely with game designers, product managers, and creative teams to deliver a cutting-edge user experience
• Translate game design requirements and product goals into suitable design solutions
• Collaborate with other designers and participate in brainstorming sessions to gather and refine ideas
• Present concepts from early stages to final design and gather feedback from team members and stakeholders
• Carry design solutions from sketch to final in-game implementation by providing wireframes, storyboards, user flows and design specs
• Iterate and validate design concepts through prototypes of varying fidelities
• Oversee the execution of your designs with the development team
• Help elevate our approach towards creating remarkable and intuitive user experiences through industry best practices and design methodologies

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We expect our UX Designer to be proficient in fundamental design processes and methodologies used in creating functional and intuitive user experiences. This means you have:

• 1+ year of experience working on UX-related projects
• A clear understanding of feature design processes for mobile applications and knowledge of what it takes to create intuitive user experiences from start to end
• A good sense of general design principles and sharp attention to detail
• The ability to distil simplicity from complex user requirements and translate them to conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes
• The ability to take feedback and adapt useful insights into your designs
• Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch, etc.
• A desire to understand and learn what players expect from mobile games and weave that into our design
• Knowledge of different research and user testing methods

BONUS POINTS:

• You have a passion for games and interactive media
• You have a solid graphic design background and know your way around tools like Photoshop and Illustrator
• You have experience in creating motion graphics or GUI animations
